Unauthorized stringing ban in Mokokchung

 As requested by the department of Power, the office of the chief engineer, (Distribution & Revenue) Nagaland, additional deputy commissioner, Mokokchung, W. Manpai Phom has informed the public that cables, wires, pipes etc. strung between electric poles will not be permitted within town limits. Phom, through DIPR stated that it hinders those involved in repair and maintenance works of lines besides increasing the probability of accidents during electricity line maintenance. Any type of cables, wires, pipes etc. strung between electric poles within the town jurisdiction should be removed within three months from the date of this being published.
