Unidentified body found in Dimapur

An unidentified male body was discovered near the roadside at the daily market located within Super Market, Dimapur, on Tuesday. The information was relayed to the East Police Station Control Room via telephone, prompting immediate response from the duty personnel. According to office of the commissioner of Police Dimapur, upon reaching the location, police found the deceased to be a non-local male, estimated to be between 55 and 60 years of age. Following the completion of all legal formalities, the body was transported to the District Hospital Morgue for post-mortem examination and further identification procedures.
