Unidentified body found near Mao Gate, Kohima

DIMAPUR: An unidentified body of a male, estimated to be 22-27 years old, was found near Mao Gate, Kohima, on May 21, 2025.
According to Kohima police, the deceased has a medium-dark complexion, and approximately 5.6 feet tall, wearing a black and white checkered shirt with black pants at the time of discovery. The body was found under the jurisdiction of Khuzama Police Station.
After completing legal formalities, the body has been kept at the South Police Station morgue for further identification.
