Unidentified body recovered

An unidentified decomposed body of a non-Naga was recovered at Tepuiki river below Benreu village paddy field under Peren district on January 7. A press release by superintendent of Police, Peren, stated that the deceased aged around 55 years and dark complexion was wearing blue striped white track pant, white and red t-shirt and hunting boots. A case has been registered and the body sent to Dimapur District Hospital for post mortem examination.
