One unidentified body of a female (approx 35-40 yrs) was recovered from railway track, Railway Station, Dimapur on May 13 at about 9:30 p.m.
In a press release, ADCP/PRO said during enquiry it was ascertained that the deceased was run-over by a moving train. Both the legs of the deceased were severed from the body, police said.
After conducting all legal formalities, the body was shifted to Civil Hospital Morgue Dimapur for post mortem examination and identification. The unidentified deceased was wearing blue blouse, police said.
