Unidentified body recovered at Shokhuvi

An unidentified body of a non-Naga male was recovered by Dimapur Police on Thursday at Shokhuvi. According to police sources, preliminary examination indicated no visible injuries on the body, and there were no immediate signs of foul play.
Police suspected possible drug overdose as the cause of death. It was further informed that the body has been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death, while adding that an Unnatural Death (UD) case has been registered, and further investigation underway.
