DIMAPUR: Dimapur police recovered the body of an unidentified non-Naga male, aged around 40-45 years, found lying between KM 260/5 towards Khatkhati side on August 29.
According to DCP (Crime) and PRO, upon receiving information, the duty party rushed to the spot for verification. After conducting inquest proceedings, it was suspected that the cause of death was due to being run over by a moving train.
Following completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post mortem examination and identification.
