Unidentified body recovered in Dimapur

An unidentified body of a male (non-Naga) was recovered near Police Point, Khermahal, Dimapur on June 23, following a tip-off received by the police control room.
Upon receiving the information, police personnel rushed to the spot and found the body, estimated to be between 35 to 40 years of age. After completing necessary legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital morgue for post-mortem and identification. The deceased was wearing a blue jeans pant and a blue/yellow-grey T-shirt and approximately 5’5” in height and of dark complexion. Police have requested any relatives, friends, or acquaintances of the deceased to contact the Officer-in-Charge, West Police Station, Dimapur at 7085055024.
