Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomarm would Nagaland on a two-day visit on June 26, 2022.
According to Dimapur DPRO, this was disclosed by APC Nagaland, Y Kikheto Sema, during a coordination meeting held at NSAMB conference hall on Saturday.
On the first day, the Union Minister would visit CIH campus and also inaugurate Farmers’ Exhibition cum Workshop. He would also visit National Research Centre for Mithun (ICAR) and Pineapple farm at Molvom Village under MOVCD- NER. Cultural and musical evening with dinner in honour of the Union Minister will be organised at Niathu conference Hall in the evening.
On the June 27, the Union Minister would visit Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, Nagaland Honey and Bee keeping Mission, where he would inaugurate the Honey Laboratory.
Before leaving for Delhi, Tomar would visit Organic AC Market, North East Agri Expo and attend the official function at Angh House, Agri Expo.
APC Nagaland, Y Kikheto Sema, informed that despite short notice, Agri and Allied departments were all set to welcome the Union Minister “in a befitting manner.”
