The Dimapur District Truck Drivers’ Welfare Trade Union (DDTDWTU) has vehemently condemned the alleged attempt to murder one of its bona fide members by Jitu Chaudhary of Kamrup, Assam and Randip of Karnal, Haryana on November 12 near Chumoukedima. In a press release, its president Kaiho Zhimomi and general secretary, Suren, appealed to all right thinking citizens to condemn such barbaric acts and also lauded Dimapur police for apprehending the two accused. It also appealed for severest punishment to be awarded to the two accused.
