UNPG NNC (PB) rejoinder to news item

Reacting to the news item “Khango-led NSCN and Royim-led NNC (PB) sign MoU” published on September 4, the UNPG NNC (PB) has clarified that Z Royim is the president of NNC (Parent Body) “as an organization” and that the government of NNC- UNPG NNC (PB) remained “firm and tall under the leadership of its president S Kiviho Zhimomi and ato kilonser Toshi Walling with council of kilonsers, army and civil wing all intact”.

In a rejoinder, the UNPG NNC (PB) declared that it was a party to NNPGs and a signatory to the historic Agreed Position with the Government of India wherein Walling was a co-convener of the Working Committee, NNPGs.
As such, UNPG NNC(PB)reaffirmed that it was and would be a party to NNPGs and that Royim was acting on his own behest wit

hout any sort of intimation to Zhimomi and Walling, nor without any approval from the council of kilonsers.
UNPG NNC (PB) said it was not aware of “such malicious developments harboured by anti-national elements” and strongly condemned it as cowardice.

It said at a time when all civil society organisations, NGOs, NNPGs and citizens were eagerly waiting for the final inking and declaration of the Naga solution, such developments only backtracks all the herculean achievements made thus far.
