UNPG/NNC (PB) terminates; clarifies

United Naga People’s Government (UNPG)/ NNC (Parent Body) has informed that the cabinet at the meeting held with different regions at its Oking resolved to terminate general secretary, Toshi Walling and vice president, Kiviho Zhimomi for violating the “azha” of NNC (PB).
UNPG/NNC (PB) president, Z. Royim has also clarified that the allegation on relieving him as president, has been made to tarnish his good image. He clarified that as per the “yezaboo” of NNC (PB), the period of the president was “never 5 years” and termed the statement published by Zunheboto region in support of Kiviho Zhimomi as nothing but a propaganda to “factionalism”. Royim also alleged that Kiyevi Zhomimi, who considered himself as region chairman was “self-proclaimed” as he was never been appointed by the consent of the president.
Therefore, Royim warned that distorting peace and harmony among the compatriots and those acting as “anarchist” “without consultation and cabinet sitting” will not be acceptable as it may led to disunity among the Nagas when everyone was earnestly praying for inking final agreement. The president further informed all concerned leaders to work for Nagas rather than “self-aggrandisement”.
