Unstoppable teen turns adversity into art

Fifteen-year-old Ketohokho, a Class-VII student of Higher Secondary School, Jakhama, is an example of indomitable spirit and resolve.
In a press release by Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland, and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, PRO & Spokesperson stated that despite losing both arms in an electrocution accident, he continues to excel academically and creatively.
At the painting competition held at Kisama Heritage Village by the Indian Army, themed “Peace on Earth,” Ketohokho impressed participants and organisers by drawing beautiful and unique artwork using his feet. The confidence and charm of the young boy is an epitome of resilience and attitude toward life and a role model for the young generation.
Teachers describe him as a positive and hardworking student who outperforms many of his peers in both curricular and extracurricular activities. Alongside drawing, he enjoys singing and dreams of becoming a versatile singer. With the support of his carpenter father and homemaker mother, Ketohokho continues to pursue his passions.
