UPHC conducts free health camp

As part of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM), Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Burma camp and Duncan Bosti, Dimapur conducted free medical camps at Notun Bosti, Zeliangrong Village, Lhomithi, Kevijau and Chukaizu colony during the month of May and June.
Altogether 703 patients including elderly people and children availed the free health services and free medicines were distributed to the patients. 
In the camps, counselling on health information, proper nutrition, timely ANC checkup etc. were also provided by the nurses. 
It is to be noted that NUHM has a coverage of 23 wards in urban Dimapur and both UPHC I & UPHC II conducts two free health camps every month within its respective jurisdiction. 
The initiative was headed by the MO in-charge UPHC, Burma Camp, MO in-charge Duncan Bosti, Urban Consultant, GNMs ,ANMs along with other NUHM staffs of both the UPHCs supported by the Urban ASHA.
