Urinal shed inaugurated in Kiphire

DPDB chairman T. Yangseo Sangtam, MLA inaugurated a urinal shed at main town Kiphire September 8.

According to a DIPR report, during the programme, DC informed that the urinal shed was funded by NEC aspirational district programme.

He also said that works such as construction of two school buildings and power line in Pungro sub-division, guest house in Seyochung and road repairing were some of the ongoing works from the fund.

He also added that more programmes were on the way.

While pointing out that the urinal shed was required, especially for shopkeepers, police personnel and general public, he appealed to the public to maintain it well.

The MLA encouraged the general public to keep the urinal neat and clean.

Kiphire district should set an example to other districts, he said.

He also called upon the pubic to practice rain water harvesting during the rainy season. District administration, ward chairman, GBs and NGOs attended the programme.
