United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) has warned against proxy teachers in government schools and transfer of government employees without reliever within its jurisdiction.

A press release from USSC president Samuel B. Sangtam stated that, union was strongly against proxy practice and has directed all erring teachers to return to their respective posts and resume their duties within 20 days.  Failure of such will lead the USSC to take stern action towards the defaulters.

Union also directed its entire area and unit presidents to collect data and submit at the office on or before March 15.

USSC further stated that, transfer of employees without relievers create a gap in normal functioning of the department and irregularities in the office procedurals and processes.
