United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) after noticing “many irregularities” has asked all departments concerned to complete the ongoing projects at Alisopur village.
In a press release, USSC executive secretary Yangdipi Sangtam said that the conference held a joint meeting with Alisopur Village Council on May 23 in regard to its 68th annual meet cum standing committee Meeting to be held in the month of January 2016 to be hosted by Alisopur village council.
Meanwhile, USSC executive chairman Justin Khatomong and executive secretary Yangdipi Sangtam along with its official also inspected the “all round development within the vicinity of the village”.
USSC said it found out “many irregularities” on the part of the department concerns, like the construction of community hall which is supposed to be completed has been left half done and “kept in stuck” while the PMGSY road was given a “lipstick touch and abandoned half way incomplete”.
In this regard, USSC has asked the department concern to complete all the ongoing works before its forth coming annual meet cum standing committee meeting was held.
Further, the conference stated that it also support the proposal put up by the village council for the creation of sub health centre which is the basic need. USSC has appealed the higher authority to take up the proposal in interest of the rural areas and its people.
