
United Sangtam Students Conference (USSC) has expressed deep distress over the poor telecom network connectivity and internet services within Longkhim-Chare jurisdiction under Tuensang district.
In a press release, USSC president Samuel B Sangtam and assistant general secretary Tiakaba Sangtam said telecom services and internet has become an integral part of daily life especially for students who depend upon internet for online classes and other important activities.
The conference stated that the poor network connection and internet services and disconnection of the same for the past few weeks in Longkhim-Chare under Tuensang district has caused “intense problems” which has affected the students in particular and citizens in general.
In this regard, USSC has asked the service providers namely Reliance Jio and Airtel to restore quality network connectivity at the earliest.
