DIMAPUR: The five‑day Vacation Bible School (VBS) organised by the Sunday School wing of Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar (LBCD) concluded on Sunday with enthusiastic participation from children and church members.
Held from July 22 to 26, 2026 under the theme “More than Conquerors,” the programme opened with invocation by Rev. Limhathung Lotha, pastor LBCD. Speakers included Yanpvulo J. Ovung, women pastress LBCD; Rev. Yimtsu Yanthan, associate pastor LBCD; Jenibemo Kithan, Youth Director LBCD; and Ajano B. Patton, CNY director LBCD, who spoke on topics such as “More than Conquerors,” “Victory over Fear,” and “Conquering through Christ’s Love.”
In addition to Bible classes for different age groups, the VBS featured Bible recitation, skit competitions, singing and recreational activities. The Ignite Choir led the singspiration, while the Praise and Worship Team guided children in worship.
CNY director expressed gratitude to parents for allowing their children to participate and thanked donors for their generous contributions in cash and kind, which ensured the success of the programme.
More than 400 Sunday School students attended VBS 2026, making it a spiritually enriching and memorable event for the congregation.
