The Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, on July 1, 2025, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Mizoram, Gen. (Retd.) V.K. Singh at Raj Bhavan in Aizawl, where they discussed a range of topics pertaining to higher education as well as matters related to the Northeast.
A press release by PRO of Nagaland University, Peter Ki, stated that Prof. Patnaik was in Mizoram where his research scholars Brig. Digvijay Singh, SM, Commandant, Sikh Regimental Centre, and Col. Ajay Kumar Tomar, Commandant, 3 Cavalry successfully defended their respective PhD theses under Mizoram University.
