Vendor’s market inaugurated in Kohima

Advisor for Urban Development & Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire inaugurated street vendor’s market-cum-extension of forest community at Lower Forest Colony, here, on Thursday.
Speaking as the special guest, Dr. Nicky acknowledged the team for their quality work in the constructions and urged upon the public to make great use at the same time maintain the asset created so that it would benefit the public. During the expenditure report, it was disclosed that six lakh was sanctioned for construction of street vendor’s market under National Urban Livelihood Mission, out of which 2,67,800 was adjusted for construction of front community hall shed.
The program was chaired by Forest Colony Union (FCU) vice chairman, Nzinimo Lotha, welcome address was delivered by chairman, short speech was delivered by director, Urban Development & State Mission, director for National Urban Livelihood Mission, Takatuba Aier.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by FCU vice chairman, Tevi Chüsi.
