A programme on livestock and poultry show cum clinical cases with free distribution of medicines and free anti-rabies vaccination camp was organized by Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Zunheboto, on January 26.
The programme began with vaccination of four exotic and cross bred dogs belonging to the Deputy Commissioner, Temsu Longkumer.
During the programme, 91 various clinical cases of different species of animals were treated accordingly and given medicines/ tonics/ anthelmentics/ antibiotics including dressing agents etc. and 126 dogs were protected against rabies.
Further, winners of the livestock and poultry show were awarded materials and cash prizes with certificates.
