Recently crowned world arm wrestling champion (Right arm – under 78 kg youth category), Vethozo Lohe has made Nagaland proud by clinching the battle for the strongest left arm teen of India title held in New Delhi on October 14.

The champion managed to find the lane and beat his opponent Abhimanyu aka ‘The gorilla’ in later rounds, despite having mass weight difference, Lohe who weighs only 76 kgs convincingly pushed through several rounds against Abhimanyu weighting 130 kgs and rightfully claimed the title.

Speaking to Nagaland Post, Lohe attributed his success to God and said it was one of his greatest experiences competing with his first and biggest opponent in one of the biggest stages. The super match consisted of 5 rounds and finished off with 3:1.
