Vigilance commission bids farewell to J. I. Yaden

In honour of retiring inspector general and director, vigilance and anti-corruption J. I. Yaden, the state vigilance commission organised a grand farewell programme on September 30. 
A press release by director and DIGP vigilance and anti-corruption police I. Meyionen, stated that Yaden in his retirement speech had compared the 35 years of service to Moses’ journey to the promised land. 
It stated that Yaden urged every officer to work hard and stressed that success came as a result of dedication, boldness and conviction. He also thanked all the officers who had worked with him tirelessly and attributed his achievements to all his staff, stated the release. Yaden had joined the service as inspector and rose up to the rank of IGP and director who was the most highly decorated officer in the commission so far. 
The release stated that while speaking on the occasion director and DIGP designate I. Meyionen described J. I. Yaden as the path finder of the commission who has lifted up the image of the commission by his sheer hard work, commitment and dedication, while also having been successful in many sensitive investigations. 
He also lauded Yaden as witty and talented officer who was never at loss for words and who had raised the standards of report writing, correspondence letters, drafting and choice of right language which was admirable, stated the release. It also stated that vigilance commissioner K. T. Sukahlu described Yaden as a sincere, hardworking and intelligent officer who has contributed so much to the commission. 
Others who spoke on the occasion included principal secretary to the chief minister Temjen Toy and PP Vikhozo. The programme was chaired by secretary vigilance commission Sehjang Doungel and vote of thanks was pronounced by senior superintendent of police K. Shiwoto Wotsa.
