The minister said the fair provided an opportunity to strengthen the local economy, promote indigenous crafts and inspire the younger generation to take pride in their heritage. Focusing on women, youth and tribal communities, Kruse said inclusive rural development remained a government priority. She also commended the Chakhesang community for its excellence in farming and urged villagers to avail various government schemes and projects.
Observing that dependence on government employment was no longer sustainable, Kruse said initiatives like One Family, One Project represented a forward-looking approach. She expressed optimism that with faith and unity, the project would yield positive outcomes for the community.
Kruse also conveyed appreciation to the people of Phusachodu for electing Kudecho Khamo, whom she described as a dynamic and energetic leader, and called upon all to work collectively towards achieving the project’s objectives.
Guest of honour, advisor Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, in his address, underscored the importance of hard work and self-reliance, stating that no government could provide employment for all.
