Villages back Ao Senden’s demand on NH-702D

Five villages namely Waromong, Dibuia, Alongkima, Mongchen and Khar have extended support to Ao Senden’s demand to realign Mariani-Mokokchung road (NH-702D) as per Option-IV (Watiyim-Longjemdang-Mangkolemba-Khar-Longjongkong) survey report recommended by PWD (NH) to the State government.
In a letter addressed to Chief Minister of Nagaland, the village councils of Waromong, Dibuia, Mongchen and Khar and Adhoc Town Committee Alongkima said Option-IV was found to be the “best preference” as it was shorter by 10 km.
While extending support to Ao Senden’s demand, the villages have urged the chief minister to ensure that the proposed Option-IV was implemented as soon as possible.
