Violence against Women Day to be observed in Kohima

The Department of Social Welfare, in collaboration with the Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, will organize the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima. In this regard, the department has requested the AHoDs/HoDs of all departments to depute five male officials/staff to attend the event.During the programme, the department will also launch 16 Days of Activism to end gender-based violence.
