In commemoration with the village establishment day, Virazouma village panchayat hall was inaugurated on February 10 by chairman Chumukedima Village Council Razouvotuo Chatsu as chief guest in the presence of neighbouring village council chairmen, VDB secretaries, GBs, CPO representatives, dignitaries, officials and villagers. Speaking at the programme, Razouvotuo stressed on unity and also urged the gathering to uphold one’s culture and rich traditions. He said the community hall should be regarded as the centre of cultural knowledge, a place to deliver justice in truth without being bias.
Highlights of the programme included cultural events by the village women and men and presentation of Angami folksongs.
The programme was chaired by Videzol Natso and God’s blessings was invoked by Pastor Yovotsol Kikhit.
