Voluntary blood donation camps in colleges

With a view to increase Voluntary Blood Donation in the state, Nagaland State AIDS Control Society has launched an All Nagaland College Campaign, which aims to conduct and spread awareness about Voluntary Blood Donation in all the colleges in Nagaland.
As a part of this campaign, Voluntary Blood Donation Camps were conducted at Model Christian College on July 7 and at St Joseph Christian College, Jakhama, organized by National Service Scheme (NSS) on July 18 respectively in collaboration with the Blood Bank NHAK. The donation drives began with short donor motivation speeches by Alipoker, consultant, Voluntary Blood Donation, NSACS.
A total of 36 students donated their blood. The organizers has thanked all who donated their blood voluntarily for a noble cause.
