Vongva Village Council holds 13th citizen meeting

Vongva Village Council (VVC) held its 13th citizen meeting under the theme, “Educating young citizens for engaged citizenship”, with Rasuka Jacob as the speaker. A press release by VVC informed that Jacob in his emphasized on unity and need for everyone society and community.


He informed that with modern problems, modern solutions was needed, pointing out that unity was a must to solve issues.
He also encouraged the gathering to be good citizens by participating in every event of the village, irrespective of big or small and fervently emphasized on the need for oneness in any sphere of activity in the village.


The release further informed that the meeting was chaired by Hosito Elias as chairman and Matthew Litsu as secretary.
Highlights of the programe included folk songs from Vongva Students Union and team of Mahkhekiu Benjamin.
