Viyito Students Union (VSU) celebrated its Silver Jubilee under the theme “Liberation towards excellence” on December 27. A press release from the union mentioned that minister PHED, Jacob Zhimomi, was the special guest on the occasion. In his speech, the minister lauded the pioneers of the union. He also encouraged a focus on self employment by making use of education, rather than staying unemployed and depending on others. The release added that Zhimomi unveiled the jubilee stone, and pastor, Viyito Baptist Church, Ilhoshe Phucho, pronounced the jubilee dedication prayer.
