VVPAT demonstration drive

To educate voters for the upcoming election, deputy commissioner and district election officer (DC & DEO), Sushil Kumar Patel and his team of officials carried out voter-verified paper audit trail (VVPAT) demonstration drive in Dimapur. According to DIPR, the demonstration drive began in November and will continue till completion of the upcoming assembly election. Administrative officers and sector officers of Dimapur have been instructed to inform the public about time, date and venue of VVPAT demonstration in advance for larger participation. Officials will also clarify doubts of voters if any. 
VVPAT demonstration calendar for Dimapur will be communicated to the people by their respective administrative officers. The demonstration drives is also underway in Niuland and Dhansiripar sub-divisions. DC has also appealed for participation in the demonstration drive and to pledge for ethical voting.
