Due to incessant rain in the state capital, a retaining wall collapsed and two vehicles were damaged at Pezieliesie colony Kohima on Monday afternoon. Maruti van bearing registration number NL-01 C4851 belonging to one Shosei was partially damaged, however Alto car bearing registration no. AS-12 D-1522 belonging to one Veinii was badly damaged by the heavy mass of boulders and mud. The retaining wall belonging to Theyiesalie Solo is likely to be affected more if the rain continues and would block the main road leading to new secretariat via Naga Hospital to Tinpati colony. Neighbours and colony residents helped to retrieve the Alto car from the debris and was taken to a workshop.
