DIMAPUR: Deputy commissioner (DC) Niuland and chairman, Delimitation Board Niuland, Ajit Kumar Verma, has informed that a meeting of delimitation board with respect to Niland Town council (NTC) was held on March 22, 2022 to discuss issues related to boundary demarcation and finalisation of survey map of the newly recognised NTC.
During the meeting, DC informed that boundaries of each ward was discussed and unanimously agreed to finalise the total number of nine wards including Viyito Zhimomi ward (north-Viyito village, south-education ward, east-main road and west-Amubo ghoki), Shozuxu ward (north-Niuland cometary, south-medical ward, east-Dadi ghoki and west-main road).
Education ward (north-Viyito Zhimomi ward, south-Kuhoxu Zhimo ward, east-main road and west-Amubo Ghoki); Kuhoxu Zhimo Ward (north-education ward, south-Church ward, east-main road and west-Amubo Ghoki).
Medical ward (north-Shozuxu ward, south-DC ward, east -Dadi Ghoki and west-main road); Church ward (north-Kuhoxu Zhimo ward, south-Vihoto ward, east-main road and west-Amubo ghoki); DC ward (north-medical ward, south-project ward, east-dadi ghoki and west-main road).
Vihoto ward (north-church ward, south-atu ghoki, east-main raod and west-atu ghoki); project ward (north-dc ward, south-kuhoxu village approach road, east-dadi ghoki and west-main road.
In this regard, DC has informed that claims and objections if any, with regard to the wards and their boundaries may be filed to the office within seven days from the date of the issue of this notice.
