WASU condemns Sep 9 alleged murder

Wakching Area Students’ Union (WASU) have condemned the alleged murder of late K Wango Konyak, son of Kingwang Konyak of Chingphoi Village, whose body was found at Lengri Tea Garden of Khatkhati, Karbi Anglong, Assam.


In a condemnation note, WASU said that the “inhuman and barbarous act of murder” negated the very aspiration of general populace for peaceful living. WASU urged law enforcement agencies to leave no stone unturned in awarding befitting capital punishment and ensured that the culprit (s) be arrested at the earliest.

WASU further extended condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God bestow unending comfort and solace to the family to bear the loss.
