Water cooler installed at DDSC Stadium Dimapur

DIMAPUR: A 120-liter capacity water cooler and water filter for cold drinking water was installed at DDSC Stadium, Golaghat Road, Dimapur, by Agarwal Samaj with support from Pankaj Agarwal (Bharech), in memory of Late Chandmal Agarwal and Late Umashankar Agarwal.
The facility was inaugurated on Thursday on the occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi by Shree Agarwal Mahasabha president, Pradeep Goel and vice president Indar Chand Agarwal, in the presence of secretary Pawan Agarwal, Akhil Bharatiya Agarwal Sammelan Northeast & Sikkim president, Chandu Agarwal, DMC councillor Mahesh Agarwal, Stadium property secretary Otokha H Yeptho and other office bearers.
According to Public Relations Minister of Shree Agarwal Mahasabha, Rajendra Prasad Agarwal, the initiative was undertaken by Shree Agarwal Mahasabha, Agarwal Mahila Manch and Agarwal Yuva Manch to provide clean and cold drinking water to visitors during the intense summer heat.
On the occasion, Pankaj Agarwal and Indar Chand Agarwal were honored with shawls for their support, while stadium officials and community representatives were felicitated with traditional scarves. Rajendra Khadaria and Lalita Khadaria were also honored with a memento and shawl on their retirement. The programme was hosted by Prashant Agarwal, while secretary Pawan Agarwal extended gratitude to all attendees.
Following the inauguration, water and juice were distributed to passersby on G.S. Road from 12 p.m. onwards, benefitting more than 800 people. The initiative was widely appreciated as a noble effort to provide relief during the scorching heat.
