Water quality training for WATSAN members

Water quality monitoring and surveillance training and distribution of field testing kits (FTK) for grassroots level workers was organised by PHED Tuensang on September 29 at the PHED district water quality testing lab Tuensang  and on September 30  at panchayat hall, Old Mangakhi, Tuensang.

A press release by PHED IEC consultant Tuensang division, Fairyson Jing stated that, chemist Nohochem spoke about the water quality as per the Indian standard of drinking water and importance of safe drinking water. In the training WATSAN chairman and members were taught on use of field testing kit and the procedure to test water quality. Training programme was sponsored by Sanitation and WSSO, PHED.PHED Tuensang division.
