Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed that water supply to Dimapur town has been cut off due to heavy landslide near Jalukie Bridge, below T.L. Angami resort approach road.
In a press release, PHED urban division, Dimapur, executive engineer P. Khetoi Awomi stated that about three 300 mm dia. DI pipes were washed away by river waters, adding that restoration of water supply would take a few days. Therefore, all the water supply consumers in Dimapur town have been requested to bear with the department.
