Sub-divisional officer (SDO) PHED, Peren, has informed that the PHE department, along with deputy commissioner (DC) Peren, has settled the non availability of water supply to Old Peren with the help of concerned public leaders.
Informing this in a press note, SDO PHED Peren, S.K. Tep, stated that the department was allowed to carry out restoration work at the source on July 15. During the restoration exercise, SDO informed that the pipelines were blocked with stones due to which the restoration work was delayed. SDO informed that the pipelines were cleared and water supply was restored on July 26.
