Water supply to Phek town disrupted

Water supply to Phek town Hq. has been disrupted for indefinite period due to damaged in the main pipeline of 100mm DiaGi Pipes on May 20 at several locations between Muchuri and Laka source, Ketsapo village by landslides and mudslides. According to DIPR, Executive Engineer, PHED Phek, Er. T. Imtiakum said that in some locations road was inaccessible to transport pipes and materials for repairing works due to blockade of road to the damaged site. The executive engineer therefore has requested the consumers of Phek Town Hq. to bear the inconvenience caused until the repair work is completed for restoration of normal water supply.
