Wakching Area Tenang Yieanghoi Range (WATYR) Mon district, has informed that it held a joint meeting with leaders of NSCN (I-M) on August 30 and compromised all matters in regard to May 5 issue. A press release by president (WATYR), Y. Konpa Konyak, stated that on May 9, 2016 it was declared that the people of the range villages would not co-operate with NSCN (I-M). However, a joint meeting was convened at Tanhai Village on August 30 in which both sides have “compromised all matters of May 5, 2016 issue.”
