WC accuses NPF of sabotaging Indo-Naga political solution

DIMAPUR, JUN 19 (NPN): Working Committee of Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) has renewed criticism of the regional party that ruled Nagaland as NDPP and later NPF, accusing its leaders of undermining the Indo-Naga political solution while claiming to be facilitators.
WC, a conglomeration of 11 NNPGs, alleged that the NPF leadership had attempted to weaken the traditional authority of Gaon Buras by treating them as government employees, sought to prevent village headmen from meeting the Prime Minister in 2017, and campaigned for the removal of interlocutor R.N. Ravi in 2021. The organisation described these actions as acts of sabotage and political treachery.
Further, WC, NNPGs also defended the protests and demands of thousands of frustrated, educated Naga youth and condemned NPF leaders for ridiculing the “Fed Up Nagas,” saying such remarks show insensitivity to public suffering.
