Working Committee (WC), Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) and Tirap Changlang Longding People’s Forum (TCLPF), Tirap Changlang Longding Women’s Association (TCLWA) and Tirap Changlang Longding Students’ Federation (TCLSF) held a consultative meeting on June 4.
In a joint statement signed by WC, NNPGs convenor N. Kitovi Zhimomi; TCLPF president N. Changmi, working general secretary Ngonglin Boi; vice presidents– Tupkam Kitnya, Sompha Wangsa, VP Tirap unit Jentoi Moinyak; TCLPF women wing president Sontung Bangsia; TCLSF president Salman Mungrap; advisors– K. Tangha and Komoli Mossang said that the TCL leaders expressed great satisfaction on the clearly defined negotiated matters between WC, NNPGs and Government of India with regard to status of Nagas of Arunachal Pradesh, which was disclosed to the delegation.
The signatories said that the clarity and transparency on the political and administrative aspects that would bring positive transformation in the lives of Arunachal Pradesh Nagas and other communities in TCL, was acknowledged.
TCL leaders, in solidarity with the urgent expression of the Naga people everywhere for political settlement, urged upon WC, NNPGs to usher in honorable and acceptable political solution to all Nagas at the earliest.
The delegation also wholeheartedly urged Government of India to expedite solution on the basis of October 31, 2019 concurrence.
