Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) expressed deep concern over the current situation at the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) Khehoyi camp, and strongly urged all individuals and groups involved to exercise the utmost restraint and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
Highlighting that this was a crucial moment for the Nagas, the hoho in a press release implored all Naga political groups to seek understanding and resolve this situation through dialogue, rather than through force or violence.
The Western Chakhesang Hoho stressed, “We are at a juncture where the pursuit of peace and unity must remain our highest priority. We cannot afford to undermine the hard-earned progress in the Naga political settlement by resorting to bloodshed. Now is not the time for conflict.”
When the Nagas were yearning for peace, the hoho said it was essential that the parties involved came together without the use of force to find a peaceful resolution, one that served the greater good of the Naga people.
Calling upon the leaders of the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) to set aside differences and seek common ground, the hoho hoped that they would act with wisdom, humility, and a commitment to the welfare of Naga people.
The hoho said it believed that through the guidance of Almighty God, the leaders would find the strength, clarity, and understanding to navigate this crisis and lead the way toward peace.
