Western Chakhesang Senior Citizens (WCSC) organised a fellowship-cum-picnic on Friday at Seluophe Village.
Delivering greetings, former executive secretary of CBCC, Rev Khrutsoyi Lurüo spoke on good cultures of Chakhesang and the life journey of Cornelius and King Joshua referring to Acts 10:2-4 and Joshua 1:7 from the Bible.
Former general secretary of CMBC, Rev Dr V K Nuh also spoke on the value of old age. He quoted Proverb 20:29, saying “long life is the reward of the righteous; gray hair is a glorious crown”.
The programme chaired by Zunepranyo Kezo began with a mass prayer followed by folk tune by Thekunyulü Chirha and Vetahulu Sapu. The house also resolved to organise such programmes in the future.
