A national level technical webinar on “Eco-Friendly Clean-up Technique: Bioremediation” was organised by department of civil engineering, St. Joseph University (SJU) Dimapur on August 7.
A press release by SJU stated that the resource person of the webinar was associate NCC officer and associate professor, department of civil engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Lt. Dr A K Priya.
In her presentation, Dr Priya highlighted the important techniques involved with bioremediation, application and some recent approaches in bioremediation. She also briefed on the approaches which could be practiced at home on small scale for protecting environment.
The programme was chaired by Imtikokba L Kichu, invocation by Arul Prabu and welcome address by Akummeren.
