One day wellness programme was organised on January 4 at Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School (SHHSS) Chizami with counsellor of St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama, Rev. Fr. C. Joseph as the resource person. A press release by the organiser stated that the programme was held to help students establish lifelong healthy behaviour and recognize the importance of health and wellness. Rev. Fr. Joseph talks aimed to enhance the physical, emotional and mental health risks of a person. He informed the students that having good health and wellness could improve their quality of life, reduce stress and anxiety, and help them live a longer and healthier life.
He also urged the students to take care of their mental, physical and spiritual factors rather than focusing on a problem.
The programme included interaction, action songs, talks on health and wellness, youth and substance abuse and how to take care of the body.
