The Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland (WENN) organized a series of workshops on regulatory business compliance and documentation on July 10, 12 and 14 in Dimapur, Niuland and Peren districts, respectively.
Supported by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the initiative aimed to equip women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge on business regulatory compliance, documentation procedures and financial literacy.
Resource persons included officials from the District Industries Centre (DIC) and experienced entrepreneurs from Nagaland.
The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from both aspiring and established women entrepreneurs. Through interactive learning modules, peer discussions and experience-sharing, participants gained practical insights into operating within formal frameworks and accessing government support for business development.
Topics covered included trade license procedures, financial literacy for entrepreneurs, Udyam Registration, FSSAI registration requirements and government schemes for entrepreneurs
These sessions simplified key legal and procedural requirements, empowering entrepreneurs to navigate formal business structures with confidence. Beyond capacity building, the workshops served as valuable platforms for networking and collaboration, fostering a strong sense of community among women-led enterprises across the three districts.
This initiative is part of WENN’s ongoing mission to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nagaland by nurturing informed, capable and confident women entrepreneurs prepared to thrive in today’s competitive business environment.
