Western Sumi Kukami Hoho (WSKH) selects search committee

DIMAPUR: Western Sumi Kukami Hoho (WSKH) at a meeting with all the office bearers, advisors and executive committee members on February 28, 2022 reportedly decided that the search committee for electing new office bearers, which has been selected as per the Provisions of Article 6(C) of the WSKH Constitution, would submit the list of new office bearers before March 10, 2022.
WSKH through its media cell stated that the meeting, which was held with regard to the leadership crisis within the WSKH, deliberated upon the matter and adopted resolution as per the provision of Article 14(A) of the WSKH constitution.
According to the hoho, the meeting decided that the annual session of WSKH for the tenure 2022-2024 will be held in the month of March. It was decided that all the Kukamis will be invited and any matters pertaining to WSKH “shall be taken up and decided amongst the members present in the annual session.”
Further, meeting decided that the WSKH will “condemn any illegal action taken against the Kükamis by any organisation or individual.” Also, if such action was committed against the Kukami, the WSKH will not cooperate with any such organisation as per the Provisions of 3(H) of the WSKH Constitution.
