Westside, a Tata Enterprise chain store, expanded its presence in Nagaland by opening its second outlet at 4th Mile, Chümoukedima, on Saturday.

The inaugural event was graced by Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur, Kevithuto Sophie, as the chief guest, and renowned mouth-painter Imlisunep as the guest of honour.

In his speech, Sophie highlighted the police’s efforts to enhance public safety, mentioning that billboards containing contact details for all police stations and officials had been installed across the city for easy access. He assured business owners that the police are committed to providing maximum security to all establishments.

Sophie also congratulated KLEY Enterprises and Westside for their efforts, acknowledging how the brand’s unique fashion aligns well with the tastes of the North East region.
Amol Gajghate, Regional Manager for East Region, extended congratulations to KLEY Enterprises on behalf of Trent, the Tata company that owns Westside.

KLEY Enterprises, the driving force behind the Westside brand in Nagaland, was founded by four cousins: Kezhawhetuo (Soito) Pusa, Lhouvi Mezhur Sekhose, Elivil Pusa, and Yanpvuo Kikon. Speaking at the event, co-founder Yanpvuo Kikon reflected on their journey, which began in 2009, and the success of opening their first Westside outlet in Dimapur in 2016 on Midland-Dhobinala Road.

While the first store spans 8,000 square feet, the new two-storey outlet covers a spacious 25,000 square feet, offering sections for women, men, and children. The event included a prayer led by Rev. Vilodi Sakhrie of Town Baptist Church and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Elivil Pusa of KLEY Enterprises.
